PTO International Night

PTO International Night at Red Bank Primary School

We experience so many "Top 10" days in the Red Bank Borough Public Schools. It's the reason our leadership, faculty and staff consider this such a rewarding place to work. If one event had to be selected to represent our school district to a stranger, our annual PTO International Night at Red Bank Primary School would be the one!

On Friday, May 17th, the Red Bank Primary School hosted their annual PTO International Night. The event drew almost 500 attendees which included families, students, community members, and staff. The goal of the evening is to help build strong school-home-community relationships along with the exposure to and appreciation of different cultures.

Attendees were able to feast on over 50 different types of foods and desserts donated by families, staff and local restaurants. In the gym, third graders displayed their projects in a cultural museum which featured posters and dioramas highlighting various cultures that had been researched. The school's Scholastic Book Fair was also open so families could purchase books with their children - buy one, get one free.

The evening featured amazing entertainment including Pipes & Drums of the Atlantic Watch, Alborada Dance Company, Calpulli Mexican Dance Group and Movement Dance Company. In addition, Primary School students treated the audience to two special performances under the direction of Mrs. Zuffanti and Mrs. Mazariegos. At the end of the evening, over 60 amazing baskets and door prizes were raffled off along with the selection of the winning tickets for the Red Bank Borough Education Foundation (RBBEF) 50-50. Funds raised by the Foundation help support a variety of STEAM related activities in the District. Funds raised by the PTO help support various trips and enrichment projects at Red Bank Primary School.
