On May 10th, our Primary School First Graders dressed their best and danced into our cafeteria to honor their mom and other special women in their lives. Under the direction of Mrs. Moran and the assistance of Grade 1 staff, classes prepared and practiced for several weeks prior to the big day. Students were eager to escort their mom to their special spot and enjoy a Mother's Day Tea Party. The cafeteria was filled with beautiful decorations including a hand-painted plate for each VIP, a special placemat, a decorative keepsake and more. Moms were entertained with special poems and songs. Each child presented their special guest with a flower and then served their mother tea and a special treat, much made by the students themselves. Moms were able to capture that special moment in one of the three photo booths. All would agree that very special first-grade memories were made that will last a lifetime! In grades Pre-K and Kindergarten, moms were also welcomed for special activities including Muffins with Mom. Check out some of the great pictures below!
