Catching Up With Our Graduates

Greetings from Jose Campa: Class of 2015

Jose Campa

Tell us about where you are now? What school you attend, what you are studying, and any extracurricular activities that you are involved in?

I am currently a senior at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, NJ. I am currently in the process of sending college applications to universities such as Rutgers, Fordham University, New York University, Bentley University, and Loyola University in Maryland to major in Accounting. I am currently the President of the Francophone (French) Club, an editor for my school's yearbook, a part of my school's bowling team, and I just wrapped up my 3rd season as a soccer coach here in Red Bank.

How did your experiences at RBMS prepare you for where you are now in life?

RBMS and Red Bank as a whole allowed me to experience different cultures that I eventually encountered at CBA and will encounter later in my academic and career future. RBMS taught me to welcome any challenge that comes my way, and make the best of it.

What are your future goals and plans?

My plan is to pursue a career in a field that I would enjoy doing at my preferred college. My ultimate goal is to put myself in a financial position where my parents do not have to work as hard as they are right now. They have supported me for the past 17+ years and I would want to return the favor.

Lastly, do you have a quote or saying that best describes who you are and what you stand for?

As an avid sports fan, especially soccer, this quote by Pelé describes who I am and what I have done so far, and that has put me in a place I am today:  "Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do." -Pelé
