Night of Arts and Sciences

On Wednesday, April 11th, the Red Bank Primary School hosted their annual Night of Arts and Sciences. This special evening gives students the opportunity to show their families what they are creating in Art as well as what they are learning in Music, STEM, Physical Education, Spanish and Technology. The Special Area classes are where our students are able to explore the world, express themselves and find where they fit in. In addition to the wonderful works of art displayed throughout the school, the Primary School Specialists Team developed various thematic activities focusing on the 2018 Winter Olympics.

In March the Primary School celebrated Youth Art Month, sponsored by the Council for Art Education. The month promotes art and art education in the United States. Original daily announcements created by students were made throughout the month. The Red Bank Primary School collaborates with the Count Basie Theatre (http://www.countbasietheatre.org/) on numerous projects, including daily visits by a teaching artist, and in 2012 was accepted to be a Kennedy Center Partners in Education team (http://education.kennedy-center.org/pdf/pie_policies.pdf).
