Dress Code

Dress Code

Uniform dress code is required for all children attending Preschool (with the exception of Monmouth Day Care Center classrooms). Children are to wear a khaki colored bottom or jumper with a red, black, or white colored top. Shorts and skirts are permissible during the warmer months.

Children should be dressed appropriately for school. Please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Children should wear appropriate footwear; comfortable to run and be active in. Classes participate in gross motor time on a daily basis, and we want all of our students to play safely! Flip flops are not allowed.Β
  • As colder weather approaches, please try to send gloves/mittens and a hat in with your child everyday.Β
  • In addition, each student is required to have an extra set of clothing in the classroom at all times. This includes a short-sleeved shirt, pants, underwear, and socks. Please send these items in on the first day of school in a bag labeled with your child’s name. If clothes need to be sent home, please replace with clean, dry items as soon as possible.Β
  • You may want to consider labeling your child’s personal items with his/ her name. Be sure to keep the information on the inside of the item. (i.e., on the tag of a shirt or on the inside of a lunch box).Β
