Student Assistance Coordinator

alt-text

My name is Mrs. Katz. I am the school social worker and the Student Assistance Coordinator. As a social worker, I am a case manager with the Child Study Team. As the Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC) I am trained to assist students in coping with emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues. Students can request to meet with me to discuss issues related to self-esteem, family problems, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-injury, relationship issues, stress, drug/alcohol issues, etc.  All services are confidential. Parents, teachers, school counselors, administrators, school nurses, or friends can also refer students. Visit our Social Worker Homepage for more information.
