Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County
The Boys and Girls Club provides after care services to our students as well as special programming when schools are closed, including summer.
Bridge of Books Foundation
Bridge of Books Foundation donates books to our students throughout the year. Books are distributed during the school day and at special family and community events held throughout the year.
Count Basie Center for the Arts
The Count Basie Center for the Arts offers our students from Preschool - Grade 8 a variety of in school, after school and summer programming. Teaching Artists visit the Primary School on a daily basis and teach sessions during the Activity Period. All District Preschool students receive Music and Movement classes. Students participate in the Bus-In Program which offers free shows and busing during the school day on a variety of timely and culturally relevant shows. Students at the Primary School participate in Stormy Singers (Kindergarten) and Kids on Broadway (Grades 2-3) while students at the Middle School partake in a musical production each year. Additionally, the Count Basie Center for the Arts supports the next three programs listed below as well.
Kennedy Center
The Kennedy Center Partnership for the Arts is a collaborative partnership between the District and the Count Basie Center for the Arts to infuse arts integration into our content areas classrooms. Arts integration is an approach to teaching in which students construct and demonstrate their understanding through an art form. Students engage in a creative process which connects an art form and another subject area and meets evolving objectives in both.
mindALIGNED
mindALIGNED is a collective impact of multiple entities throughout the State in support of a modern approach to infuse creative teaching strategies via techniques that span across disciplines to brighten classrooms from lesson to lesson, and pupil to pupil. The core belief is that when creativity and the arts are integrated into school lessons, students are more engaged and learning improves.
Monmouth Conservatory
Students in Grade 3 participate in a special Strings program which is a collaboration between our Primary School music teacher and the group. All students in Grades 4-8 have the opportunity to participate in Guitar, Piano, Woodwinds and Orchestra after school hours. These students are exposed to special masterclasses in order to improve their craft and receive critical feedback.
Fulfill
The Fulfill Backpack Program provides families in need with a backpack of nutritious, easy-to-prepare food. Backpacks are usually filled on Fridays or before school vacations. Monmouth Day Care Center (MDCC), our preschool provider, is an active member of Fulfill. Fulfill partners with local organizations that have food pantries to help them increase the amount of food given to the community. These foods include non-perishables, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and frozen meats. MDCC welcomes all families of the Red Bank community to their center during operating hours.
Girl Scouts of the Jersey Shore
Girl Scouts in Grades K - 5 meet monthly and engage in various activities meant to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage collaboration. All the while, our Daisies and Brownies create lasting friendships with their fellow Girl Scout troop members. The Community Outreach branch of the Girl Scouts hosts our troops for an incredible day of outdoor fun at Camp Sacajawea in Farmingdale as a culminating activity for the year.
Girls on the Run/Track
Girls on the Run/Track is a transformational physical activity based positive youth development program for girls in Grades 4 - 8. The program will teach life skills through dynamic, interactive lessons, and running games. The program culminates with the girls being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5k running event in Fair Haven each spring.
Horizons at the Jersey Shore
Selected students Preschool - Grade 8 attend a six week program. The program includes academics, athletics, trips and more! Students receive transportation, free breakfast/lunch and a variety of other supports and programming during the school year.
Jazz Arts Project
The Jazz Arts Project summer program hosts a free two week instrumental music camp at Middle School for students entering Grades 4 - 8. Students of all levels are invited to participate in strings, keyboard, brass, and woodwind lessons.
Lunch Break
The Middle School partners with the Lunch Break on numerous occasions to support their mission. The Preschool Program utilizes the resources of Lunch Break as CPIS and family workers facilitate support of all families.
Mental Health Association Of Monmouth County/Red Bank Resource Network
MHA strives to promote mental health as a critical component of overall wellness, including prevention services, early identification and intervention for those at risk and integrated care and treatment. The Red Bank Resource Network is a free community based organization located in Red Bank that is a bilingual community walk-in center that provides comprehensive health, housing, food, social, and financial resources to individuals and families, with a focus on self-sufficiency.
Monmouth Cares
A private non-profit organization that partners with our families to facilitate care for children with complex needs. They believe in a model of care that is family-driven, culturally competent, and community-based. A Care Management Organization (CMO) that is part of New Jersey's Children's System of Care (CSOC).
Monmouth University
The Red Bank Borough Public Schools partner with Monmouth University to provide both field practicum experiences as well as student teaching experiences to preservice teachers and speech therapists.
NJ InCK
Red Bank Nurses, School Counselors and CST coordinate with NJInCK to refer students in need of access to a support coordinator who will assist the family to connect with medical service providers, as well as resources for food and housing through their “Circle of Care”.
Parker Family Health Center
The Parker Family Health Center is a volunteer-based, free health care facility where Monmouth County residents without medical insurance or the ability to pay can be cared for with the same level of dignity and confidentiality afforded in the private sector. We have an open line of communication with the clinic to better assist our students that are unable to obtain health care or are new to our country.
Project Write Now
Project Write Now is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people of all ages become better writers as they gain the confidence, skills, and insight needed to reach their personal, academic, and professional goals. Staffed by former teachers and journalists, PWN has adopted the Middle School students as family. In addition to providing academic support across all grade levels, PWN also facilitates after school and summer programs with students.
Red Bank Borough Education Foundation
The RBBEF supports various initiatives including the Primary Patch School Garden, the District’s Chromebook Initiative, new playground equipment at the Primary School, various class field trips across the district, and much more. They also allow all teachers to apply for the Kopka Grant in order to provide additional STEAM resources for integration into the classes.
Red Bank Elks #233
The Red Bank Elks #233 sponsors a yearly essay contest for students in Grades 5 - 8 at the Middle School. The Elks provide the students with winning essays cash prizes and all winners are invited to an awards breakfast at the Elks Lodge.
Red Bank Parks and Recreation
Parks and Rec invites the Primary School and Middle School to participate in various contests and events throughout the school year (Arts in the Park, Cinco de Mayo Performance, Labor and Memorial Day events, Westside Tree Lighting, 9/11 Remembrance, Hispanic Heritage Celebration and more). Our students also partake in various athletic teams organized by the department.
Red Bank Police Department
RBPD partners with the Primary School and Middle School to provide the LEAD program (drug awareness) and the GREAT program (gang awareness) to the Grade 6 students during the school year. Additionally, we also collaborate to enhance school safety and security by providing a daily School Resources Officer (Class 3) at our Primary School and at our Middle School.
Red Bank Public Library
The Red Bank Public Library is a free public library based out of Red Bank, New Jersey. The library provides materials, information, technology and cultural opportunities to enrich, empower, educate and entertain people of all ages and backgrounds. The Children’s Librarian supports Preschool events such as the Books and Blankets family engagement program. In addition, students at various grade levels take walking trips to visit and explore what the library has to offer.
Red Bank Regional High School
We enjoy a strong relationship with our partners in education. Through shared Professional Development opportunities and vertical content area articulation meetings we collaboratively support the BIG Dreams of Red Bank children. A special part of our partnership is the frequent return of RBRHS students to our buildings to serve as translators for parent-teacher conferences and other special events.
Red Bank Rotary Club
Red Bank Rotary selected Grade 1 classes at the Primary School as the beneficiaries of an early literacy initiative. Each class received different read-alouds and students selected their favorite titles. Students were then offered a copy of their favorite book to take home personalized with their name on a Rotary Club bookplate. Rotary Club members served as guest readers promoting a love of reading and forging connections between our district and the Red Bank Community.
RSVP Readers
Volunteers visit the Primary School weekly and pick a new book to read to every Grade 1 classroom. Students are eager to see their RSVP Reader each week and are motivated to engage in the new read-aloud. The program helps encourage our students to be avid readers and increase their exposure to different genres and types of books.
Rutgers University
The Red Bank Borough Public Schools partner with Rutgers University to provide both field practicum experiences as well as student teaching experiences to preservice teachers. Additionally, the Preschool Program participates in the Preschool Study Yearbook through the National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) at Rutgers University. Participation includes the use of the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale®, Third Edition to assess classroom quality each year in randomly selected classrooms.
Salvation Army
Salvation Army is a presence at various school events throughout the year providing food, clothing, and other goods for families in need.
Tender Smiles 4 Kids
Tender Smiles is dedicated to helping children maintain oral health, knowing that oral health is an important factor in overall systematic health. Each year our students receive dental services at their school site.
United Way of Monmouth & Ocean County
The United Way of Monmouth and Ocean County sponsors the Warmest Wishes Program (coats, hats, scarves, gloves, etc.) for students.
Visiting Nurse Association
The VNA of Central New Jersey-VNA Health Group School-based program offers primary health care to more than 1,000 students each year. Our school-based nurse practitioners provide care at the Middle School and the Primary School twice per week.
YMCA of Greater Monmouth County
Swimming: The YMCA All Grade 3 students participate in a week of free swim lessons during the school day. The YMCA pays for lessons and transportation.
Counseling: Red Bank School Counselors facilitate referrals for students who require therapy services. YMCA mental health counselors provide clinical counseling services for students on site at the Primary School and Middle School as a service for parents through their insurance carrier.
Before and After Care: YMCA provides before and aftercare services for students at the Primary School daily.
