New Jersey school districts are required by statute (N.J.S.A. 18A: 7C-6.6) to notify families by October 1 of any statewide student assessment or commercially developed standardized assessment that will be administered over the course of the school year. Per N.J.A.C. 6A:8-4.3(a): Chief School Administrators are required to report assessment results to district boards of education within 60 days of receipt of reports. This includes NJSLA ELA, NJSLA Mathematics, NJSLA Science, DLM and ACCESS for ELLs results.
