Letter from the Superintendent
Laura Morana
I sincerely hope that you had an enjoyable summer with family and friends. We were delighted to have 325 students in the summer program. We had students who expressed a desire to have the program extended by two weeks as well as those who wanted to have time with their families before the opening of the new school year. Students and parents alike were very pleased with the organization of the program, its dynamic teaching, fun and educational field trips, enrichment activities, and the opportunity to make new friends. Thank you for sharing your children with us.
Dress and Grooming
In response to the adoption of Uniformity: Dress Code Policy No. 5201, our schools have designed regulations that reflect the intent of the new policy. We wish to thank you for your support and we eagerly await October 26, 2010, as the first official day that has all of our students dressed in uniformity and solidarity.
Dear Faculty and Parents/Guardians
It’s hard to believe that the 2009-2010 school year ended not too long ago. I am positive that you will agree with me that the year was filled with extreme financial challenges as well as an array of learning opportunities for our students.
